Surveyor’s is looking good! We went up from the bottom today, making it to first lookout with only a few small snow patches and few downed trees…fewer since we cleared several.
The second lookout took a little more work…hike-a-biking through some larger snow patches and more downed trees. We did about a mile of the DH after the second lookout, which was great!
The views were amazing today…this pic doesn’t do much justice, but you can clearly see Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helen’s, Mt. Rainier…and what you can’t see in the pic is Mt. Baker behind Rainier, and the Olympic Mountains to the right of Helen’s….don’t get to see them often.
